This edit is used for website copy edits and includes examining external and internal hyperlinks.

In contrast to the developmental edit that addresses the overall structure, the heavy edit examines the details.

A basic copy edit is for a mature publication. Its content is well developed for level, tone, focus, flow, and layout. The basic copy edit examines and corrects spelling, grammar, capitalization, word usage and repetition, usage of numbers, tenses, and descriptive inconsistencies.

In contrast to the heavy copy edit that addresses more minute details, the basic copy edit primarily looks at grammatical details and spelling.

Print book publishing includes formatting the book size to meet your preference, setting the binding type and paper quality, and obtaining the ISBN unique identification number for your book.
